Facebook Marketing Tip
Facebook is now actively after spammers who publish multiple posts a day and/or share links!
Facebook won’t suspend your account, but they will begin demoting your posts so your content becomes buried in other people’s News Feed (i.e. you won’t get any engagement or eyeballs on your posts).
If you’re posting more than 3 times a day, you are not doing yourself any favor. More than 3 posts in a single day, you’ve officially crossed into spamming territory .
Spend less time posting and more time creating connections .

Today, Instagram is introducing a new way to interact with hashtags. You can now “follow” a hashtag the same way you would follow an account. Instagram’s algorithms will then pick and choose some of the highlights from that collection and surface them in your main feed. It’s a fundamental change to one of the largest social media platforms in the world, elevating your interest in adorable dogs or expensive automobiles to equal status with your friends and family.
For those concerned about privacy, a note: The hashtags you follow are visible to anyone on Instagram who checks out your profile. It doesn’t look like there’s a way to turn this off, though if your profile is set to private, then only your followers will be able to see the hashtags you follow.
Instagram Tips
Hashtags are SO awesome and useful! If you are trying to find your LIFER ( also known as the people who you enjoy serving, spending time with, and doing things with, they’re just like you) TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HASHTAGS! Connect with like minded individuals that way!
Be creative and specific with your hashtags. Using super popular hashtags is useless because your photo will get lost in the feed within minutes!
Avoid using overly popular hashtags .Use specific hashtags to reach the right people. General hashtags will reach spammy followers .If you’re selling a coffee called “California Coffee” , people that don’t know about California Coffee won’t be specifically searching for the hashtag #californiacoffee . Use hashtags that your potential customers/lifers would be using/searching for!
We can only have 30 hashtags on Instagram or it won’t let you post them.
As you know, I am a Facebook ninja and Linkedin sourcing expert . Been using these social media platforms for years for recruitment . I’ve been using Instagram for just 3 months now . I am learning tips and tricks of using it from an expert to promote business.

If nobody likes your stuff on Facebook maybe it’s because they don’t like it, not because they don’t see it. Change your content or change your audience. You can always delete anyone that never interacts with you or is not actively using Facebook. Make room for new friends. This will also increase your edgerank and your overall engagement.
Btw, if you want more likes and comments, give out more likes and comments. Don’t be selfish.

The Facebook Creators app is actually a rebrand and update of the Facebook Mentions app launched in 2014 that was originally only available to verified public figures and Pages. Facebook Creator app launched globally today on iOS, and will be rolling out to Android users in the coming months. The app is open to individuals on Pages or profiles.

LinkedIn has stealthily launched a new feature called ‘Active Status’, a green circle that shows when a user is online and available to chat via the LinkedIn Messaging platform. A simple move that could drastically change the way users see and use the platform as well as cause issues if employees want to keep their job search private.
When reaching out to your LinkedIn connections, you want to send your direct messages when they are online. This is not only for you to get an immediate reply but also to avoid getting buried under all the messages they receive while offline.
The Active Status feature is a quick and simple way to find that out. What’s more, by knowing which of your connections are online, you can create more specific messages. This can help cut down on impersonal bulk messages.
Messaging is a huge feature all every major platform but before this LinkedIn lagged behind – this feature could make the platform a lot stickier and useful for candidates, colleagues and recruiters. The feature is on by default – an increasingly common feature roll-out trick to game sign-up/engagement numbers – although users can easily turn it off in the settings . LinkedIn’s new Active Status feature, and Whatsapp like feature, are small but welcomed additions to its messaging platform. With them you can quickly see who of your connections are ready for a conversation. Check it out and start having meaningful conversations with whoever is online to make your job hunt even easier In addition to seeing when your connections are available, Linkedin also made it easier for you to start instant conversation from anywhere on LinkedIn. And to help you identify where you might have a relationship that can help you find your way in, also surface people you know when you’re looking at a job listing or company page.
Take advantage of these opportunities. People that you are communicating with on LinkedIn can now move from email style to live chat and start leveraging LinkedIn Active Status even better for business development.
